To be successful in this role, youll need relevant or transferrable experience in business development, recruitment, or labour market engagementparticularly where youve worked closely with employers to meet their workforce needsis highly advantageous. As a Work Broker, youll build strong relationships with employers, understand their hiring needs, and connect them with the right candidates.

Youll advocate for clients, promote their skills, and support them through the job placement process. This role is well-suited to those with a background in recruitment, account management, business development, or industry experience across healthcare, construction, retail, education and training, manufacturing, or horticulture. Work closely with businesses to establish and promote vacancies, manage the recruitment process, and assist with onboarding and induction. Educate employers on MSDs products and services, ensuring they are aware of available support and incentives. Work with colleagues across the region, this includes Case Managers to connect clients to seasonal and permanent work.

Advocate for clients by matching them to suitable roles and promoting their skills to potential employers. Ensure that internal systems are kept up to date, recording all interactions with employers and clients. Work with the Labour Market Team to complement Immigration, Skills for Industry and Cadetship work programmes.
